The Chefi la cuțite judges reunite to kick off filming for the new season of the culinary show

With the winter holiday over, the Chefi la cuțite judges have reunited on the show’s set, ready to step back into the ring of the fierce culinary competition. Chef Richard Abou Zaki, Chef Orlando Zaharia, Chef Alexandru Sautner, and Chef Ștefan Popescu answered “Present!” to the call of Irina Fodor, the host of Chefi la cuțite, alongside whom they have begun filming Season 18 of the culinary show.

“The winter holiday flew by incredibly fast - and here we are again in our second home, the Chefi la cuțite set, which is already buzzing with the hustle and bustle of filming. The race of the new season has begun- emotions, tension, but also the joy of seeing each other again and the pleasure of a competition unlike any other are once more bringing the Chefi la cuțite set to life”, said Irina Fodor.

“I was actually talking with the guys when we saw each other again today that this is Season 18—we can say we’ve officially come of age and need to raise the bar even higher. You can feel that we’ve matured through this process, and everything we do here is done with even more passion and love. I couldn’t wait to come back: the beginning is always full of energy and enthusiasm, it gives me a fantastic sense of well-being. Now we’ll see what the competition has in store for me!”, said Chef Orlando Zaharia.

“We started out in high spirits—but also with the perfect mental setup to jump back into the fight. That’s how I want to begin, going all out for the amulets!”, commented Chef Ștefan Popescu.

“I was incredibly happy to see my colleagues again - I came to the set with an extraordinary vibe. I truly want us to have a spectacular new season, to offer those watching at home the adrenaline that ignites the set when we compete, as well as the joy of discovering fantastic contestants and this love for cooking, the passion for culinary art that we want to take to new heights and transmit day by day”, said Chef Richard Abou Zaki.
