Formula 1 returns with a spectacular show in Montreal! The Canadian Grand Prix airs on Sunday at 10:50 PM on Antena 1 and AntenaPLAY
Formula 1 brings one of the most exciting races of the season this weekend: the Canadian Grand Prix! The Gilles-Villeneuve Circuit in Montreal once again promises intense battles, spectacular overtakes, and strategies that can change the standings within just a few laps. The race can be watched on Sunday at 10:50 PM on Antena 1 and AntenaPLAY.
The Canadian round is renowned for its unpredictability and the dramatic moments that can unfold during the race. Changing weather conditions can have a decisive impact on team strategies, while the difference between victory and retirement can come down to a single pit stop decision. The Montreal circuit is a “stop-and-go” track where top speed, heavy braking, and precision are essential.
Drivers and teams will have limited preparation time, as the weekend schedule includes only one free practice session before sprint qualifying. Starting this season, the FIA has restructured the competition calendar, bringing the Canadian Grand Prix closer to the Miami round in order to reduce the championship’s logistical impact and carbon footprint.
The Gilles-Villeneuve Circuit, inaugurated in 1978, is 4.3 kilometers long and features 70 action-packed laps. All eyes will be on championship leader Kimi Antonelli, who continues to impress this season and is aiming for another major victory. At the same time, Ferrari and McLaren rivals are ready to fight until the very end for a podium finish in what promises to be an extremely balanced race weekend.
