Alexia Țalavutis and Pepe kick off The Battle for Good Cheer on December 31, starting at 4:00 PM, on Antena 1 and AntenaPLAY
On the last day of the year, starting at 4:00 PM, a new edition of The Battle for Good Cheer promises a show full of energy, humor, and memorable moments. Two teams of charismatic artists compete in a series of fun challenges, musical face-offs, and surprise games, all designed to bring smiles and great vibes to viewers. The festive atmosphere, witty exchanges, and competitive spirit turn this special New Year’s Eve edition into a true entertainment marathon—perfect for ending the year on a high note.
“We’re doing the official warm-up for New Year’s Eve. It’s the last evening of the year, and since we’ve already stolen the start of the celebrations, we decided to do it with a major competition. We have two teams, two different energies, and one single mission: to have so much fun that we forget what day it is! After a year like this, it’s time to send it off with dancing, music, and good vibes!” revealed the hosts of The Battle for Good Cheer, Alexia Țalavutis and Pepe.
Artists who have gathered millions of views and likes online—Lora, Diana Matei, Anca Neacșu, Emilian, and Jean de la Craiova—on one side, and artists who have taken folk music to the top of the trends—Mioara Velicu, Cornelia and Lupu Rednic, Ana Maria Ababei, Constantin Enceanu, and Grigore Gherman—on the other, will face off in the biggest Battle for Good Cheer yet.
Each team will go through a variety of increasingly entertaining challenges—from performing their own hits in the musical style of the opposing team, to a showdown between Romanian expressions and international ones, to completely unexpected questions drawn from their rivals songs, as well as surprise guests who will try to throw them off. Each challenge will earn points for the two teams, and in the end, only one will emerge as the big winner of the day.
