Season 9 of the phenomenal show Temptation Island Romania has come to an end, wrapping up with a grand finale that ranked as the undisputed audience leader!

12 contestants, who formed 6 couples with different outcomes—each equally important for their personal growth and future paths. 20 tempters who played a major role in the couples test, proving that feelings can surface when you are surrounded by the right people. 21 days away from home, in Thailand, in an environment where temptations were stronger than their initial intentions. Season 9 of Temptation Island Romania ended last night with a series of bonfire ceremonies full of tension and surprises. The show, aired on Antena 1, once again secured the top spot in the ratings.

The Grand Finale was followed breathlessly across the country, once again leading the audience charts! According to data provided by Kantar Media, during the time slot 20:28 – 24:40, among the commercial public aged 21 to 54, Antena 1, airing the season 9 finale, achieved 8.4 rating points and a 35.6% market share, while PRO TV, in second place, registered 4.2 rating points and a 17.8% market share. The same hierarchy was maintained among the urban audience, where Antena 1 led with 6.5 rating points and a 22.8% market share, while PRO TV, in second place, had 4.4 rating points and a 15.5% market share. Nationally, Antena 1 also ranked first with 6.2 rating points and a 22.3% market share, compared to PRO TV’s 5 rating points and 18.0% market share. At the peak audience moment, at 22:41, over 1.4 million viewers experienced the couples emotional outcomes.

Throughout the entire day, between 02:00 – 26:00, Antena 1 was the ratings leader with 2.5 rating points and a 24.1% market share, compared to PRO TV’s 2.2 rating points and 20.8% market share. In the 19:00 – 24:00 slot, directly competing with PRO TV, Antena 1 led the commercial audience (ages 21–54) with 6.7 rating points and a 30.5% market share, while the second-place channel registered 4.5 rating points and a 20.5% market share.

Facing Radu Vâlcan, the couples had to make important decisions! Marian and Bianca decided to leave the island separately, but the present found them reconciled and happier than ever, after the lessons learned from the show.

Marius and Maria, the only married couple, chose to separate at the bonfire. Maria also turned down Cătălin, the tempter she spent a lot of time with, while Marius started a relationship with Oana Monea. However, after filming ended, things changed, and the present reunited Marius and Maria once again!

Ella and Andrei, who had been planning their wedding during this time of year, chose to break up. And that decision still stands today! At the bonfire, she left with Teo, while Andrei left with Andrușca. However, both relationships failed to stand the test of time.

The story of Season 9 of Temptation Island Romania has come to an end, on Antena 1 and AntenaPLAY! But the surprises continue. Starting today, exclusively on AntenaPLAY, fans can watch premiere interviews with their favorite tempters, as well as with some of the contestants of Season 9!
