Starting with November 24, filming begins for Celebrity Menu – Flavours of Morocco, on Antena Stars
Celebrity Menu is moving, for a while, to Morocco. The show's team is preparing a special series of episodes under the title Celebrity Menu – Flavours of Morocco. It’s a unique opportunity to combine travel and cooking in the same project—exactly the way Morocco is experienced: with vibrant colours, intense aromas, and stories at every turn.
On the cooking side, viewers will be guided by none other than Chef Horia Manea, who will cook alongside one of the most renowned masters of Moroccan cuisine, Chef Mohamed Fedal. Together, they will reveal traditional Moroccan recipes, surprising reinterpretations of Romanian dishes, and culinary techniques specific to this rich gastronomic culture.
Chef Horia Manea shares his excitement:
"We’re off! Finally, the Celebrity Menu team is heading to Morocco. I’m very happy. We will prepare a series of special episodes, aired exclusively on Antena Stars, in January, in prime time this time. I truly want to go to Morocco, following the trail of spices and delicious food, discovering all kinds of tastes and flavours. Then, I want to bring them back to Romania and create a series of Moroccan recipes. It’s very important in the kitchen to share, to learn recipes, and to pass them on. We’ll be in Morocco for a week, visiting seven cities and discovering their local traditions, culture, and cuisine—because yes, that’s our theme. Wish us luck on our journey to Morocco! We can't wait to be in your homes at the beginning of January."
The travel segment will be presented by special guest Maria Andrei, an experienced journalist and passionate traveller. Maria will take viewers through an authentic Morocco, exploring vibrant cities, historical landmarks, traditional markets, spectacular landscapes, and local stories revealed step by step.
The show will feature a series of special editions, broadcast at the beginning of January in prime time at 19:00. Each episode will be filmed in a different iconic Moroccan location. These editions will blend culinary experiences with cultural discoveries, bringing audiences a colourful, lively, and flavourful Morocco.
