This Sunday at 1:45 PM, motorsport fans will enjoy a new speed spectacle, live on Antena 1 and AntenaPLAY! Formula 1 returns with the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, where roaring engines, razor-edge strategies and spectacular overtakes are guaranteed! The battle for glory comes after the Monza race.

The Baku street circuit debuted in 2016 under the name of the European Grand Prix. A year later, the first Azerbaijan Grand Prix took place, continuing to this day. Drivers must complete 51 laps of the 6.003-km circuit during the race.
Charles Leclerc set the fastest lap at Baku in 2019, clocking 1:43.009. Last year, Oscar Piastri was declared the winner of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, followed on the podium by Charles Leclerc and George Russell.
The circuit’s champions will once again line up at the start after a free weekend. The event will feature three practice sessions, qualifying, and the race on Sunday. Action kicks off on Friday at 11:30 AM, with the decisive race broadcast LIVE on Sunday, September 21, at 1:45 PM.
