Asia Express enters the semi-final stage! Contestants become actors at the world’s largest film studio, while the battle for stamps could change the rankings
Tonight, at 8:00 PM, on Antena 1 and AntenaPLAY, Asia Express – The Silk Road enters the semi-final stage, and the competition is getting more intense than ever. The contestants arrive at a spectacular location, where they will have the opportunity to discover the world of Chinese cinema and put their acting skills to the test. At the same time, a new challenge comes into play: the battle for stamps, whose number and type will be decisive at the end of this stage. As there is no Immunity Challenge at this point in the competition, the team that advances will be the one with the highest score in terms of stamps collected. Finding the stamps and figuring out how to obtain them will also be challenges in their own right. Moreover, their presence brings one of the most difficult feelings in Asia Express to the forefront: uncertainty!
The first day kicks off with a test designed to see how well the contestants know each other, a challenge that has repeatedly proven throughout the competition that it can spark both bursts of laughter and tension between teammates. The answers, more or less inspired, and especially the reactions of those who hear them, promise to deliver an entertaining spectacle once again.
The adventure continues at Hengdian World Studios, the largest film studio in the world, an impressive complex featuring life-size replicas of some of China's most iconic monuments and buildings, reflecting the country's history and culture. In this spectacular setting, where different historical eras and cinematic worlds are brought to life, the contestants will face a challenge unlike any they have encountered so far.
To win their first dragon stamps, the teams will have to step into the shoes of movie characters and perform scenes inspired by Chinese cinema, in Romanian. Under the guidance of a local director, who will also evaluate their performances, the contestants will have to prove their acting skills, creativity and ability to improvise. The director will decide how many takes are needed before their performances deserve the much-coveted reward.
But the challenge doesn't end there. The studios also hide other dragon stamps, held by movie characters whom the teams must track down. To obtain them, the contestants will also have to learn a line in Chinese: “Hello, do you have a dragon for me?” Each team will have to decide how much time to devote to this search, knowing that every minute lost could make all the difference in the race to qualify for the Game, where only the first two teams will advance.
How the teams will perform in front of the cameras, who will impress with their acting skills and who will manage to turn this experience into an advantage in the race to qualify for the final stage will be revealed to viewers tonight, at 8:00 PM, in a new edition of Asia Express – The Silk Road, on Antena 1 and AntenaPLAY.
