Mara Bănică and Serghei Mizil, Raluca Bădulescu and her ex-husband, Anda Adam and Joseph, Gabi Tamaș and Dan Alexa are among the teams starting this year on the Road of Heroes, in Asia Express

One of the longest tracks ever lays down for 9 pairs of stars in season 8 of the toughest reality show of the moment, Asia Express. The Road of Heroes will cross 3 countries, the Philippines, Vietnam and South Korea, and will bring to the competition Mara Bănică and Serghei Mizil, Raluca Bădulescu and her ex-husband, Florin, Anda Adam and her husband, Joseph, Catinca Roman and her daughter, Calina, Ștefan Floroaica and Alexandru Ion, supermodel Alina Pușcau and her friend Cristi-na, former footballers Gabriel Tamaș and Dan Alexa, dancer Emil Rengle and his boyfriend, Alejandro, and Karmen and her friend, the hair stylist Olga Barcari. Following the already well-known rules, no phone, no accommodation and no transport, with only 1 dollar in their pocket, the 9 pairs will face completely different cultures, big differences in temperature, they will learn about old heroes, but also heroes of the generation Z, they will learn more about themselves and their partners and will do their best to reach Seoul, the final destination of this season. Drumul Eroilor also promises huge surprises in terms of the format of the show, which will bring more competition and the unexpected.

But a fabulous one, just like my partner in this extraordinary adventure! I kept hoping, year after year, that I would be chosen too! This time, the HERO of my life, my FATHER, asked God up there to make it all right and to start on the Road of Heroes. Serghei Mizil: "The idea of ​​my participation in Asia Express started from a caterinca that I did together with Mara Banică I wasn't too sure about the date the discussion, but after that, retiring, having nothing to do, I decided to go. One by one, I'm fascinated by that area and it's quite difficult to get there, that is, to go alone, I don't want to, to find a group to go with more friends is more difficult. I decided to participate in this contest, on this occasion I see those areas, being fascinated by Vietnam. I want to try my strength, to see if at 70 or so years old I can still face this route. Of course, I'm going with the idea of ​​winning and I'm convinced that I'll get as far as possible."

Alina Pușcau and Cristina Postu: "Asia Express is the dream I had, but I didn't dare to put it in my thoughts! This is how the Universe throws me and my friend, Alina Pușčau, into (probably) the biggest adventure of our lives! I feel fear, adrenaline and love for this experience! I still feel curious about places, people, traditions and my beliefs. I know that although I'm afraid, it's definitely the start of a journey where I throw myself into the world, leave part of my trust in the hands of my girlfriend and forget all the limits I have at home! Why did I agree to participate? Because when it was proposed to me I was very, very scared! That frozen moment was the moment I understood that this is what I need to do for myself and for those around me who often turn away from challenges or opportunities for fear that they are too small, too far, too inappropriate. I want my "YES, PAR-TICIP" moment to be my compass when I feel lost and why not, to be an inspiration to those around me! Every time I got what I set out to do, and here I could propose my finale. Ștefan Floroiaca: "I've been wondering for a long time how I would do if I participated in Asia Express, watching the show from the sofa… But I know that the calculation at home is not always the same as the one at the fair, so this unexpected excites me a lot. I also have the good fortune to have Alex as a comrade, with whom I am glad that I will live this story. I can't wait for the race to start and find out the answer to the couch question. Alexandru Ion: "There is nothing I would have wanted more in Romanian television than to participate in Asia Express. I've been waiting for this moment for a while, so I'm very happy that it's happening. Of course, I have no way of knowing what will happen there… the emotions, the stress, the nerves that I had as an athlete will not compare to those that we will have there, but I am a confident, strong person and we will it goes over everything, for sure!"
Dan Alexa: "I couldn't see myself with anyone other than Gabi, I think she's exactly the partner I need. He is efficient, smart, ready to act, connects us with many things and I have a lot of trust in him. For me, personally, it takes me out of a comfort zone that I've been in for many years and I'm impressed by the scale of this project, I've seen the deployment of forces behind the cameras, it's clear that it's a special show. I'm going with Gabi to have fun, we want to win and I really think it will be something unforgettable!"

Emil Rengle and Alejandro: "Our expectations? Chaos, confusion and lots of laughs. We are ready to make fun of ourselves on TV, but also to create iconic moments that we will never forget. Alejandro is also eager to practice his Romanian. So if you're going to see me talking all the time, it's because he'll probably accidentally tell someone "I'm a potato" instead of "I need help." We know it won't be easy, but we're here for the adventure, the craziness, and maybe to prove we're a little more resourceful than we look. Karmen and Olga Barcari: "Participating in Asia Express is more than a competition, it's about limits, resistance, team. We wanted to live this extreme experience, to discover new places, but also to challenge ourselves in a completely different way. Anda Adam and Joseph: "My husband convinced me, mentioning that this will be our new month! And I said to believe him anyway. Raluca Bădulescu and Florin: "I would never have thought in my life that I would end up participating in Asia Express, while Florin wanted to do this since the show appeared. This show is TOTALLY out of my comfort zone, out of my couch, out of the hair salon, it's something out of the world for me. I don't have shoes without heels, so you understand! Raluca and adventure do not occur in the same sentence. It's like climbing Everest. Of all the people in the world, Florin is the one who knows me best, me being hysterical, slumming, stressed and stressful, paranoid and many other things. Even though we divorced two and a half years ago, we have a very close bond and there is no other person I could have done this with."
